Complete garden makeovers · Northamptonshire
Transform the whole garden, not just one part of it.
Sometimes replacing the patio or the lawn is not enough. If the garden feels dated, awkward, hard to maintain or simply does not suit how you want to live, a complete makeover creates an entirely new outdoor space. We manage it from first ideas to final finishing, and we think about how the whole garden works rather than treating each feature on its own.

Garden redesigns
A good redesign starts with how you want to use the garden. More entertaining space: bigger patios, seating and outdoor dining. Less maintenance: porcelain, artificial grass, gravel and structured borders. A family garden: safe lawn, seating zones, practical paths. A modern garden: large-format paving, clean lines, raised beds. A traditional one: sandstone, planting, materials that suit the house.
- Simple scale drawing before a spade goes in
- Patios, paths and seating areas
- Lawns, real or artificial
- Steps, retaining walls and raised areas
- Drainage and ground preparation

Outdoor kitchens and lighting
The two things that turn a garden into a room. Stone-built kitchens with granite tops, housings for a BBQ, kamado, smoker or pizza oven, and a lighting scheme wired in before the first stone goes down so there is not a cable in sight.
- Stone and block outdoor kitchens with granite worktops
- Log stores and appliance housings
- Low-voltage path, wall and uplighting
- Festoon and pergola lighting
- Dusk-to-dawn and app control

Gravel, borders and finishing details
Decorative aggregates make practical, attractive areas with little upkeep. And the small details, edging, borders, the junction where paving meets lawn or wall, are what separate average landscaping from a professionally finished garden.
- Gravel and slate areas with proper edging
- Planting beds and sleeper borders
- Side access and utility areas
- Planting to a designer's scheme or our own simple one
- Irrigation run to every bed before planting

Why preparation matters
The bit you never see is the bit you’re paying for.
One team start to finish
No waiting for the next trade. The crew that digs out is the crew that lays the last slab.
Drawn before it is dug
A scale plan so you can see where the table goes before a spade goes in.
Staged if you need
Hard landscaping this year, planting and lighting next, planned so phase one never has to be undone.

How much does a full garden makeover cost?
Most of ours fall between £8,000 and £35,000 depending on size and materials. Outdoor kitchens and lighting add to that. We give a fixed written quote after a site visit.
How long does it take?
A typical rear garden makeover is two to five weeks on site.
Do you do planting?
We build the beds and can plant to a simple scheme. For a full planting design we work alongside a garden designer, and we build to their drawings regularly.
Can I see what it will look like first?
Yes. Send us a photo and a few words and we will send back a concept with our Visualise Your Garden tool, then a scale plan once you are happy with the direction.
